The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Hillary Williams as a non-executive director of the Company, with effect from 6 September 2024. Ms Williams has also been appointed as a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees from this date.
Ms Williams brings extensive experience as a senior financial services marketing leader. She was, until June 2023, the Global Director of Brand and Marketing of M&G PLC overseeing teams in the UK, Asia and Europe. Prior to this she was Brand and Marketing Director for Prudential UK. She joined the M&G Group from AEGON UK in 2016 where she held the position of Customer Marketing Director. She previously held Marketing Director positions at Sainsbury's Bank and UKI Partnerships. Ms Williams was a member of Prudential's Independent Governance Committee from 2020 to 2022 and is currently a non-executive Director on the board of The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company Limited.
There is no information concerning Ms Williams that is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (2) to (6) inclusive and the Board considers her to be independent on appointment in accordance with the AIC Code of Corporate Governance.
