Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
Castings PLC ("Castings" or "the company"), the leading iron casting and machining group primarily focused on the European heavy truck market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Harrison as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 26 September 2024.
Stephen is currently Chairman of Epwin Group plc, the AIM listed manufacturer of energy efficient and low maintenance building products and was Chief Executive Officer at Forterra plc, a London Stock Exchange Main Market listed supplier of building materials to the UK's construction sector until May 2023. Stephen has over 20 years experience in the construction materials sector.
Stephen is also appointed to be a member of the audit, remuneration and nomination committees.
No further information is required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in respect of this board change.
