VietNam Holding Limited
('VNH' or the 'Company')
Redemption Update
Further to the announcement on 5 September 2024, the Board of VNH announces that several shareholders who had requested that some or all of their holding of VNH Ordinary Shares be redeemed had subsequently requested to withdraw all or part of their redemption request. The VNH Board has agreed to permit this withdrawal. This means that the number of Ordinary Shares validly tendered for redemption was 3,406,598 Ordinary which will be redeemed under the 2024 Redemption Opportunity. This reduced number of Ordinary Shares represents approximately 12.6% of the Ordinary Shares in issue as at 31 August 2024.
The Board will make a further announcement when the 30 September 2024 official net asset value per share is finalised and the final timetable for the payment of the redemption proceeds is settled.
Hiroshi Funaki, Chairman commented. The Board is delighted at the strong support these shareholders have shown VNH with their request to reduce the size of their redemption request. It is further evidence of the broad investor support for the Vietnam investment case and for VNH and its investment manager, Dynam Capital, Ltd, in particular.
