From festive occasion dressing to gatherings and hosting, Macy’s has always curated the best assortment of unique gifts and one-of-a-kind experiences. This year, Macy’s will have forty-percent newness in product assortment across categories.

Macy’s curates the best gifts in beauty, accessories, toys, apparel and more, that make the entire holiday shopping experience seamless. Macy’s curated a list of Top 100 Holiday Gifts featuring gifts that the entire family will love. Whether hosting or arriving as a guest, customers will discover everything they need for entertaining, gift giving and occasion dressing. Customers can also give the gift of unlimited choices with a Macy’s gift card, the perfect gift for everyone on the list.

  • Gifting: Macy’s beauty and fragrance sets are wrapped and ready for gifting featuring luxury beauty brands like Dior, Valentino, Carolina Herrera and the annual favorite Macy’s exclusive 25 Beauty Advent Calendar. Macy's will feature new holiday assortment in its private brands On 34th, Mode of One and the popular Charter Club cashmere sweater collection. Some of the trending brands include Nike, Donna Karan, MacKenzie-Childs, BOSS, expanded assortment in UGG that includes apparel, and so much more.

Macy’s Holiday Square

This season, Macy’s is unveiling the first-ever Holiday Square by Urbanspace to create the ultimate holiday destination at its iconic Herald Square store in New York. Macy’sHerald Square will open on November 1st, 2024, and run through January 3rd, 2025. Urbanspace is the creator of New York City’s most iconic holiday markets including the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park Winter Village, Union Square Holiday Market and Columbus Circle Holiday Market. Customers will be delighted with the immersive experience that will feature an exciting assortment of products, holiday gifts, and food and beverage from over 30 local businesses. The Holiday Square stalls will feature some of New York City’s finest hot chocolate purveyors, Stroopwafels from Amsterdam, Handcrafted chocolates from Italy, Crumbl Cookies and other savory snacks. Visitors can also find personalized ornaments, jewelry, handmade stationery, candles, decorative accessories and more to elevate their holiday celebration.

Macy’s will also have a presence at The Holiday Shops at Bryant Park in one of the iconic glass houses on 6th Avenue on October 25th. The shop will offer Macy’sThanksgiving Day parade products and gifting favorites including cashmere, fragrances, and more. In addition, beginning on December 6th through January 3rd, 2025, Urbanspace Herald Holiday Market will debut outside of Macy’s iconic store.

Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Returning for its 98th march, Macy’sThanksgiving Day Parade will officially welcome the holiday season on November 28th to the sound of the time-honored phrase 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…Let’s Have A Parade™!

Showcasing an exciting lineup of featured character balloons, magical floats, the finest marching bands from across the country, dynamic performance groups, imaginative clowns, the nation’s biggest musical talents and the one-and-only Santa Claus, this is the nation’s premiere Thanksgiving celebration. Macy’s Holiday Celebrations

Macy’s has delighted generations of guests with celebrations welcoming the holiday season. From a visit with the one-and-only Santa Claus to Macy’s Great Tree, animated windows and more, Macy’s is the destination for holiday cheer in communities nationwide.

  • Macy’s Santaland, an enchanted world showcasing Santa’s Village and Workshop, will open for in-store visits at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago on November 2nd, and at Macy’sHerald Square in New York, Macy’sCenter City in Philadelphia and Macy’sUnion Square in San Francisco on November 29th.   • Macy’s Iconic Holiday Windows have created an annual tradition, bringing the spirit of the season to life in animated fashion since 1874. As the first department store to feature Christmas window displays, the iconic Macy’s Holiday Windows will once again enthrall and entertain this November, at select stores nationwide.
  • Macy’s Great Tree, Christmas Light Show and Dickens Villageoffer unique and classic holiday experiences that delight spectators at Macy’s on State Street in Chicago (inside the world-famous Walnut Room) and in Macy’sUnion Square in San Francisco. Big Brothers Big Sisters

Macy’s continues its partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) to uplift and empower young people through mentorship opportunities and experiences as part of the brand’s social purpose platform, Mission Every One. From November 1st through December 24th, Macy’s will host a special in-store round-up and online donation campaign to benefit BBBS’s mission to create meaningful mentorship experiences. Since 2022, Macy’s has helped raise more than $9.5 million to support BBBS’ mission to empower youth nationwide and realize their full potential by providing impactful programming and life changing mentorship opportunities.

Macy’s will host Little Holiday events for Bigs and Littles, and Big and Little Matches will make a return appearance in the Macy’sThanksgiving Day Parade where 10 Big and Little matches will perform holiday songs alongside Macy’s colleagues. Customers will also have the chance to shop exclusive holiday-themed products styled with original drawings by Littles. Beginning November 1st and through December 31st, 2023, 50% of the purchase price of a BBBS-designed teddy bear and mug will benefit the organization to help create life-changing mentorships for young people.
