Rubrik Named the 2024 Entrepreneurial Company of the Year by the Harvard Business School (HBS) Association of Northern California

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2024-- The Harvard Business School (HBS) Association of Northern California will honor Rubrik, the Zero Trust Data Security™ company, on December 5, 2024, as the 43rd Entrepreneurial Company of the Year. Sponsors Greylock and IVP will support this prestigious award.

The Harvard Business School (HBS) Association of Northern California Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Award is presented annually to a company that exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit, demonstrated through its growth in uncertain times, innovation, and significant contributions to the community. Earlier this year, Rubrik successfully began trading on the NYSE during a time of tightening investor scrutiny.

Rubrik will join the ranks of past HBS Association of Northern California Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Awards over 40 recipients since the program was founded in 1979. These include Apple, Genentech, and Sun Microsystems, part of the program's early history. Recent awardees include Adobe, AWS, Cloudflare, Facebook, NVIDIA, and Salesforce.

Bipul Sinha, Co-Founder and CEO of Rubrik will receive the award on behalf of the company at the upcoming HBS Association of Northern California Entrepreneurial Company of the Year Dinner, where members of the Harvard Business School community, industry leaders, and past award recipients will gather to honor the company’s remarkable achievements. Proceeds from the event will support the Harvard Business School Community Partners program, which provides pro bono consulting services and scholarship opportunities for local nonprofits.
