(NYSE:NRG) NRG Energy is proud to announce its partnership with the FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host Committee and bring seven exciting international soccer matches to Houston at our namesake stadium. NRG is excited to support this monumental sporting event and the expansion and development of local soccer communities to inspire the next generation of players.

As part of this partnership, Reliant, an NRG company, will host a series of youth soccer clinics with RISE Soccer Club. Reliant has been a proud supporter of RISE for more than 10 years, and this clinic is a testament to both organizations’ ongoing commitment to developing young Houston talent.

The clinic will provide young RISE soccer players with valuable hands-on learning and skill building while fostering a deeper connection to the sport. A special appearance by Clint Dempsey, a former U.S. Men’s National Team player, will inspire participants as he shares his expertise and engages with fans.

In addition, NRG will participate in Houston FIFA Fan Festival celebrations, where we will showcase green initiatives and promote community learning around environmental responsibility. NRG has a long-standing focus on sustainability and hopes to continue fostering these important conversations while inspiring Houston environmental awareness.

The seven soccer matches that will take place at our host stadium will be powered with renewable energy, making us even more honored to be a part of this event given NRG’s and the World Cup Houston Committee shared commitment to sustainability.
