About the company

Sadovaya Group SA is a Ukraine-based holding company, which operations are focused on coal mining activities. The Company’s diversified mining and related operations are divided into four main segments: Coal Mining, the Extraction of Coal from Waste Deposits, Coal Enrichment and Coal Trading. The Company owns and operates two full-cycle underground mine complexes, as well as 16 coal waste dumps and tailings dams. All of the Company’s production facilities are located in Ukraine’s heavily industrial Donbas Region. The Company’s subsidiaries include Sadovaya LLC, Shahta Sadovaya LLC, Shahta Rassvet-1 LLC, Donvostok STB LLC, Interinvest LLC, Interdon Private Company and Volat-Trans Private Company. As of September 30, 2012, the Company’s major shareholder was Connectico LLC with a stake of 75%.
