About the company

Nissan Chemical Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the agricultural chemicals business, functional materials business and wholesale business. The Company operates through six business segments. The Agrochemicals Business segment provides herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, plant growth regulators, and other agrochemicals, as well as bulk veterinary pharmaceuticals. The Functional Materials Business segment provides display materials, semiconductor materials, and inorganic colloids. The Wholesale Business segment is engaged in the wholesale of chemical products. The Chemicals Business segment provides basic chemicals such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and ammonia, and fine chemicals such as specialty epoxies for encapsulants. The Pharmaceuticals Business segment provides bulk pharmaceuticals for hypercholesterolemia treatments and fine chemicals. The Others segment provides fertilizers, landscape gardening, transportation, plant engineering, and other services.
