Shinagawa Refra Co Ltd, formerly Shinagawa Refractories Co Ltd, is a Japan-based company primarily manufactures and sells refractories, insulation materials, and fine ceramics, and performs furnace construction work. The Company operates through four segments. The Refractories segment mainly manufactures and sells shaped refractories, unshaped refractories, molded powder, quicklime, chemical products, and others. The Insulation Materials segment manufactures and sells refractory insulating bricks and ceramic fibers. The Advanced Materials segment manufactures and sells fine ceramics, inorganic coatings, and inorganic adhesives. The Engineering segment performs construction work for blast furnaces, converters, incinerators, and other facilities, as well as the design and construction of industrial furnaces. The Company also operates a real estate leasing business.
