About the company

Midsummer AB is a Sweden-based supplier of equipment for manufacturing of flexible copper indium gallium selenide solar cells (CIGS). The Company’s technology enables to manufacture customized lightweight flexible solar panels, which can be attached onto any type of surface. Applications comprise floating modules, vehicles, landfills, portable power generation and membrane roofs on factories, offices and other structures that are not strong enough for traditional glass modules. Products consist of the DUO, mass production deposition equipment, as well as the UNO, a research and development (R&D) tool, which is made in different configurations. Process improvements in R&D are directly transferable to the DUO production tools.
