Tan Chong International Ltd is an investment holding company principally engaged in the distribution of motor vehicle. The Company operates through five segments. The Motor Vehicle Distribution and Dealership Business segment is engaged in the distribution of Nissan passenger cars and light commercial vehicles and Subaru passenger cars. The Heavy Commercial Vehicle and Industrial Equipment segment is engaged in the distribution of heavy commercial vehicles and industrial equipment. The Property Rentals and Development segment is mainly engaged in the rental and development of properties in Singapore and Hong Kong. The Transportation segment is mainly engaged in the provision of vehicle logistics services to vehicle manufacturers in Japan, and also provides human resource management service in relation to transportation business in Japan. The Other Operations segment is engaged in investment holding, the provision of workshop services and the manufacture of vehicle seats.
