Nitto Denko Corp is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the industrial tape business, the optronics business and the life science business. The Company operates in three business segments. The Industrial Tapes segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of basic functional materials such as bonding materials and protective materials, as well as automotive materials. The Optronics segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of information functional materials, printed circuits and process materials. The Human Life Science segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of nucleic acid contract manufacturing, nucleic acid synthesis materials, nucleic acid drug discovery, medical-related materials and other life sciences, membranes such as polymer separation membranes, and personal care materials such as functional films for hygiene materials. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of new businesses and other products.
