About the company

Brompton Energy Split Corp. (the Fund) is a Canada-based mutual fund company. The Fund’s investment objectives are to provide holders of preferred shares with fixed, cumulative, preferential quarterly cash distributions until the maturity date and to return the original issue price of $10.00 per preferred share to holders on the maturity date, and to provide holders of class A shares with regular monthly, non-cumulative cash distributions and the opportunity for growth in net asset value per Class A share. The Fund invests in a portfolio consisting primarily of equity securities of dividend-paying global energy issuers with a market capitalization of at least $2 billion which includes companies operating in energy subsectors and related industries, such as oil and gas exploration and production, equipment, services, pipelines, transportation, infrastructure, utilities, among others. The Fund's Portfolio Manager is Brompton Funds Limited.
