Hokkaido Gas Co Ltd is a Japan-based company engaged in the energy model that combines gas, electricity and heat. The Company has three segments. Gas segment manufactures and sells gas. The Segment also provides liquefied natural gas (LNG) transportation services, meter reading for gas sales, security and inspection for gas supply. Energy-related segment provides small-scale gas services and sales of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The Segment also provides LPG cylinder delivery, meter reading and security and inspection for small-scale gas services and LPG sales, construction work for gas supply and piping, construction and civil engineering, sales and rental of gas equipment, heating and cooling services, sales of system equipment and real estate. Electricity segment generates and sells electricity. The Company also engages in solar power generation and wood biomass power generation, as well as information technology (IT) and insurance agency businesses.
