PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is an Indonesia-based mining and metals company. The Company is engaged in the exploration, extraction and processing of minerals, including copper, gold, and nickel. The Company’s businesses include Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine, Merdeka Battery Materials, Wetar Copper Mine, Pani Gold Mine, and Tujuh Bukit Copper Project. The Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine is located in Banyuwangi, East Java, this flagship asset is a conventional open pit mine utilizing heap leach processing. The Tujuh Bukit Copper Project is located below the Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine, this project is an undeveloped copper-gold porphyry deposit, with resources estimated at over 8.2 million tons of contained copper and 27.9 million ounces of contained gold. The Wetar Copper Mine directly produces and exports copper cathode. The mine is operated by PT Batutua Kharisma Permai, which holds the mining license, and PT Batutua Tembaga Raya, which holds the industrial license to process ore into copper cathodes.
