About the company

Black Iron Inc. is a Canada-based iron ore exploration and development company, advancing its 100% owned Shymanivske Iron Ore Project. The Shymanivske Project is located near the city of Kryvyi Rih, in the Dnepropetrovsk Region of Ukraine near two large producing iron ore mines. The Project is surrounded by five other operating mines, including Metinvest's YuGOK and ArcelorMittal's iron ore complex. It holds an iron ore mining extraction permit over 2.56 square kilometers (km2) of land. Its subsidiary is Black Iron (Cyprus) Limited.
