Star Energy Group plc is an onshore hydrocarbon producer in the United Kingdom. The Company is engaged in delivering indigenous crude oil and electricity to Britain’s energy market from its fields in the East Midlands and the Weald Basin in Southern England. It has approximately 28 fields with over 90 sites around the country, producing predominantly oil. The Company owns a 71% interest in a company which has three geothermal exploration licenses in Croatia, with the potential to develop power generation facilities that seek to supply renewable baseload power to local and regional electricity markets. Its pipeline of geothermal heat opportunities in the United Kingdom includes projects in partnership with Salisbury and Manchester University NHS Foundation Trusts to decarbonize their operations and provide a reliable long-term source of heat.
