About the company

Jupiter Mines Limited is an Australia-based pure-play manganese company. The Company's core asset is a 49.9% stake in Tshipi e Ntle Manganese Mining, an independently operated and managed, black-empowered company that operates the Tshipi manganese mine in South Africa’s Kalahari region. Tshipi operates as an open pit mine, producing on average 3.4 million tons of manganese ore annually, with the flexibility to scale production in line with market demand. The mine produces both lumpy and fines manganese ore, with average grades of approximately 36.5% and 35.5%, respectively. The mine employs a combination of rail and road transport to deliver processed manganese ore to eight commercial ports across South Africa. These ports include Port Elizabeth, Saldanha, Cape Town, East London, Durban, Richards Bay, Mossel Bay, and Ngqura, as well as Luderitz in Namibia. The Company is exploring the potential to supply high purity manganese sulphate monohydrate to the electric vehicle battery market.
