Nippon Denko Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the ferroalloy, functional materials, incineration ash recycling, aqua solutions, and power generation businesses. It operates through five business segments. Ferroalloy Business segment manufactures and sells ferromanganese, silicomanganese, and ferrosilicon, ferrochrome and others, provides warehousing, port cargo handling and on-site work and owns interests in mines. Functional Materials Business segment manufactures and sells zirconium oxide, boron oxide, ferroboron, hydrogen storage alloys and others. Incineration Ash Recycling Business segment engages in the melting and solidification of incineration ash using electric furnaces. Aqua Solutions Business segment manufactures and sells wastewater treatment equipment and pure water production equipment. Power Business segment supplies electricity. It also manufactures and sells samplers and other steel analytical and measuring equipment and processes and sells plastics.
