About the company

Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited is an Australia-based minerals explorer in Chile, South America. The Company's projects include the Llahuin Copper-Gold-Moly Project, Los Pumas Battery Metal Manganese Project. Its Llahuin deposits are located close to the city of Illapel, in the Coquimbo Region, 250 kms north of Santiago in Chile, at an elevation of 1,300 meters (m), and eight kilometers (km) east of the large El Espino Copper-Gold mine development operated by Santiago listed copper producer Pucobre. The Los Pumas Manganese Project is located approximately 175 km east of the port city of Arica, Chile. The Los Pumas Manganese Project is an advanced manganese deposit for which the Company is seeking offtake/joint venture (JV) funding/sale for a long-life mine to produce agriculture products for soil improvement, electrolytic manganese for steel making and/or high-purity manganese sulphate monohydrate (HPMSM) to supply the electric vehicle and energy storage markets.
