Provexis plc is a United Kingdom-based company that develops, licenses and sells the proprietary, scientifically proven Fruitflow heart-health functional food ingredient. Fruitflow is a natural extract from tomatoes which has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting, typically associated with cardiovascular disease, which can lead to heart attack and stroke. The extract is available as a spray-dried powder, and it can be included in a broad range of food, beverage and dietary supplement formats. Fruittflow is a highly concentrated form of bioactives which is lycopene-free and contains over 30 known antiplatelet compounds. The Company also offers Fruitflow+, Omega-3, and dietary supplement products which are sold directly to consumers. In addition, the Company supplies Fruitflow as an ingredient to brand owners in the food, beverage, and supplement sectors through DSM Nutritional Products’ distribution network.
