Capstone Copper Corp. is a copper mining company. It is engaged in the production of and exploration of base metals in the United States (US), Mexico, and Chile, with a focus on copper. It owns and operates the Pinto Valley copper mine located in Arizona, USA, the Cozamin copper-silver mine located in Zacatecas, Mexico, the Mantos Blancos copper-silver mine located in the Antofagasta region, Chile, and 70% of the Mantoverde copper-gold mine, located in the Atacama region, Chile. In addition, it owns the fully permitted Santo Domingo copper-iron-gold project, located approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Mantoverde in the Atacama region, Chile, as well as a portfolio of exploration properties in the Americas. Through Compania Minera Sierra Norte S.A., it owns 100% of Sierra Norte, an iron oxide copper gold deposit located in Chile's Atacama Region, that spans over 7,000 hectares.
