About the company

Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. is an integrated metal producing company. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of ferro alloys, iron and steel products and power generation. The Company is primarily engaged in the production of long steel products such as iron pellets, sponge iron, steel billets, thermo-mechanically treated (TMT), structural products, wire rods, ferro alloys, aluminum and stainless steel. The Company’s TMT and structural products are sold under the brand S-E-L Tiger. It also undertakes the conversion of hot rolled coils to pipes, chrome ore to ferro chrome and manganese ore to silico manganese. The Company is also in the process of further diversifying our product portfolio by entering into the segments of pig iron, ductile iron pipes and aluminum foil. The Company operates seven manufacturing plants across India: three in West Bengal, and one each in Odisha, Indore, Kharagpur, and Jharkhand.
