Shuka Minerals plc is a mining and development company engaged in exploring Africa's mineral resources. The Company’s focus lies on the acquisition and development of minerals. It has an operating coal mine in Tanzania, whose capacity is under consideration for upgrading. Its projects are in discovery and development in Tanzania, Zambia, South Africa, and other African countries rich in copper, lead, and zinc deposits. Its Rukwa Project is located within the Rukwa Basin, southwest Tanzania, within a northwest southeast trending corridor which extends south into Zambia and Malawi. The Company has a mining license granted over Mkomolo. The Company owns and operates 100% of Kabwe Zinc Mine, which is located in central Zambia, approximately 110kilometers north of the capital city of Lusaka.
